 SERAP Requests Tinubu To Stop His Ministers From Receiving Pensions Of Former Governors


SERAP has requested President Bola Tinubu to order former governors who hold the position of minister in his administration to stop receiving pensions, trucks and other allowances from their states.


SERAP urged him to order the former governors to immediately return all the pensions and allowances they have received since leaving office to the government fund.


This was revealed in a statement signed by the Deputy Director of SERAP, Kolawole Oluwadare at the weekend.


Former governors who are now ministers in Tinubu's government include Badaru Abubakar, Nyesom Wike, Bello Matawalle, Adegboyega Oyetola and David Umahi.


Others include Simon Lalong and Atiku Bagudu; and Ibrahim Geidam.
