 Shettima will represent Tinubu at the BRICS meeting in South Africa

The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima has left Abuja for South Africa to represent President Bola Tinubu at the 15th BRICS Summit.

Shettima will join other political leaders and businessmen around the world to attend the conference in South Africa which will run from August 22 to 24.

The conference will discuss issues related to business, ease of investment, development, innovation and the development of governance in the world.

Also, the meeting will look at the issue of continuing to support African countries and the southern part of the world.

Major leaders who will attend the meeting include the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, President Xi Jinping of China, the President of Brazil, Luiz da Silva and the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
