Someone is accused of abusing 91 girls
A former Australian child care worker is facing 1,623 counts of sexually abusing 91 girls over the age of 15, authorities allege the man recorded the images of the children on his phone.
Australian police have charged a former childcare worker with 1,623 counts of sexual abuse against 91 girls, in what authorities say is the worst crime in the country's nearly 40-year history.
The 45-year-old man is facing life imprisonment. Australian Police Assistant Commissioner Justine Gough said: "We suspect these offenses took place at 10 children's centers between 2007 and 2013 and 2018 to 2022, and other locations in 2013 and 2014, and a center in Sydney between 2014 and 2017. All the children accused of committing the crime are girls." according to Gough
