The military government of Niger has appointed new governors
The new military government of Niger has made new appointments which include the chief of staff of the presidential palace, the secretary of state and the governors of the 8 states of the country.
The newly appointed governors are Brigadier General Ibrahim Bulama who will lead Agadez state, Brigadier General Iro Umaru who will lead Dosso state, and Brigadier General Ibrahim Bagadoma who will represent Diffa state.
The others include Brigadier General Abdou Assoumane who will oversee the affairs of the capital city of Yamai, Major Colonel Oumarou Tawaye is in charge of Tahoa State, and General Issoufou Mamman who is entrusted with the responsibility of looking after Maradi State.
Lieutenant Colonel Maina Boukar will lead the state of Tillabery, and lastly Colonel Labbo Issoufou will oversee the affairs of Zender state.
