Tunisia's president fired Prime Minister Bouden
The President of Tunisia, Kais Saied fired the country's Prime Minister Najla Bouden.
Ms Bouden was the first woman to hold the post, and was chosen on the spot by Mr Kais when he sacked her successor two years ago.
It has been two years since the president, who has a repressive or authoritarian style of government, has been taking steps to fire his government's top officials.
President Kais has already replaced her with a politician Ahmed Hachani, who held a senior position in the Central Bank of Tunisia.
This step comes at a time when the country is in political turmoil, economic collapse, high cost of living, and all opposition to the government.
