Warmly: Ganduje Becomes National Chairman of APC
The former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has been elected as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He succeeded Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who resigned due to some controversies last month.
Ganduje was elected at the 12th National Executive Committee meeting held in Abuja.
Leadership Hausa reported how President Bola Tinubu expressed interest in Ganduje succeeding Adamu.
The former Speaker of the Senate, Ajibola Bashiru was also confirmed as the National Secretary of the party.
Apart from Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, governors and many party leaders attended the NEC meeting.
