Wildfire: Authorities in Canada have ordered Kelwona residents to flee
As Canada continues to face the world's worst wildfires, a state of emergency has been declared in the southern British Columbia city of Kelwona.
The city of 150,000 people is under fire threat from the neighboring western part, which has been under fire threat since two days ago.
The BBC representative said that the authorities have ordered everyone to leave their place because of the danger of the fire which is seen to be able to reach the city within hours.
The strong wind that was blowing further fueled the fire.
A fire officer said that the way they put out the fire is like putting out a fire that has been burning for 100 years.
