Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has appointed, Hussaini Abubakar-Giro, as a member of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, to replace his father, Sheik Abubakar Giro, who died on Wednesday.

The National Jama'atu Izalatil Bid'a Wa'iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) national group requested the Governor to review one of the sons of the deceased on the position given to their father which the Governor agreed to.

Alhaji Ahmed Idris, the Chief Information Secretary to the Governor, disclosed this in a statement he shared with journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.

Ahmed Idris stated that the governor accepted the appointment when he received the leaders of the organization (JIBWIS) under the leadership of the national president of the organization, Sheik Abdullahi Bala-Lau, who paid a condolence visit to the governor at the government house in Birnin. Only.

The governor confirmed to the Izalar group that this call has already been received.

Idris thanked the organization for this visit, where he said: "The loss has not only affected his family but everyone."

He said Abubakar Giro is a pillar of the spread of Islam in many African countries, and he prayed to Allah Ta'ala to forgive his mistakes, accept his good deeds, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

The clerics also offered special prayers for the deceased, and other Muslims who have died and prayed for peace in all parts of Nigeria.
