Tinubu Fired NASENI Chairman 3 Months After His Appointment
President Bola Tinubu on Friday sacked the head of the National Science and Technology Agency (NASENI), Dr. Bashir Gwandu.
Also, Tinubu also approved the appointment of 32-year-old Khalil Suleiman Halilu, who will replace Dr. Gwandu. According to the appointment of Khalil Suleiman Halilu, he will spend five years on the chair of the commission which is in line with the 2014 section of the Commission Act. .
Gwandu's dismissal was contained in a statement issued by the presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale on Friday.
