We are satisfied with the mandate of the military to organize elections in Gabon - Ndong
Gabon's new prime minister, Raymond Ndong Sima, supported the army's announcement that it would take two years before preparing for elections that would return power to civilians in the country, saying that two years is a reasonable amount of time.
During his conversation with the French news agency AFP, Prime Minister Sima said that the small amount required by the army showed how they put progress less than the need to remain in power.
According to him, there is a good hope that the army will come up with a good plan on how to conduct effective elections within the two years they need.
But some of the words that caught the attention during the discussion was the way he said that maybe there could be an increase or a decrease in the 24 months that the army needed, which shows that there is a flaw in his speech.
