Buhari's government has failed, now it is a life of regret - Dalung
The former Minister of Youth Development and Sports in Nigeria, Solomon Dalung, has claimed that former President Muhammadu Buhari regrets the way his close friends defamed him during his presidency.
Dalung, who worked under Buhari's government, said the government failed to fulfill the promises it made to Nigerians during the 2015 election campaign.
In an interview with Radio Trust, the former minister said that as one of the founders of APC, it is his duty to tell the truth about what is happening.
He said during the election campaign, they promised Nigerians to provide security and revive the country's economy and fight corruption, but he said they failed to fulfill their promises.
Dalung described Buhari as an honest leader, who also believed in the people who were with him, even though they were the ones who defamed him.
The former minister said that the APC government from 2015 to 2019 achieved success because the security issues at that time were not as bad as they are now.
