63 people were kidnapped in 18 days in Abuja - Masana
Security and information gathering experts said 63 people were kidnapped in the Federal City of Abuja from January 1st to the 18th.
Malam Kabiru Adamu, the CEO of Beacon Consulting, said this on BBC Hausa's Ra'ayi Riga program which took place last Friday.
He said security in the capital city of Abuja is getting worse, so that almost every day there is a report of kidnapping or attempted kidnapping of a resident of the city.
Barista Bulama Bukarti who was part of the program said that as Abuja is the face of Nigeria, the city is facing serious threats.
He said "besides the kidnappings, there is the problem of armed robberies and the rape of women".
And he said that if this situation is allowed to continue, he will drive away almost all foreign investors.
This problem is more common among junior government employees.
