Nigeria: Militants killed 4 people including soldiers in Benue state
Some bandits have killed 4 people including 2 soldiers in Agatu local government of Benue state in north-central Nigeria.
According to reports, the bandits committed acts after launching attacks in some villages including Abugbe, Okokolo, Ugboju, Odugbeho, and Olegobidu.
Eyewitnesses said that two of the soldiers deployed to provide security in the area met their death as a result of the ambush by the attackers while they were patrolling.
Some residents of the area said that the attacks, which started two days ago, intensified when the attackers returned to Okokolo village.
So far, there is no further information from the state police regarding this incident that happened on Friday.
