'A new plan to end the war in Sudan will be announced'
Sudan's Vice President Malik Agar has announced that a new plan will soon be announced to end the country's war, said the Sudan Tribune in Paris on February 21.
Agar, who was speaking after meeting Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni in Kampala yesterday, did not give detailed information on the plan.
The Sudanese official said in a statement that he agreed with the president of Uganda on "the new plan to end the war in Sudan, which will be announced in the coming days."
His words come after Sudanese President Abdel Fattah al-Burhan vowed on February 20 that there will be no talks with the RSF forces until the group is defeated.
Fighting continues between the army and the RSF in the 10th month in many parts of the country.
