Israel once again attacked southern Gaza with firestorms

Israel's shelling of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip has affected homes, a situation that worsens what humanitarian groups describe as a dire situation, despite efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli fire destroyed a house and dug a huge hole in the east of Rafah city, where at least 1.4 million Gazans are seeking refuge from the ongoing conflict.

This war broke out after Hamas fighters launched an attack in Israel on October 7 last year, which resulted in the death of more than one thousand people.

At the Najjar hospital in the south of Rafah city, mourners hugged the bodies of some children whose faces were covered with white cloth.

According to sources, there was a fire in Zeitun district, which is adjacent to Rafah, where tanks and soldiers were stationed.

The army said that the helicopters are continuing to help the forces sent to the area to fight Hamas.
