A schoolboy who was stabbed in Japan has died
The Japanese boy who was stabbed on his way to school in China on Wednesday died from his injuries.
The 10-year-old boy was attacked in the south of Shenzhen near their Japanese school.
A suspect has been arrested, and Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yoko Kamikawa, has said that she takes the matter seriously and will ensure that justice is done to the child.
She demanded that China provide a detailed explanation of what happened and take stricter measures and more protection for its citizens.
This is the second time that Japanese people have been attacked in a school in recent months, and this comes on the anniversary of the Japanese occupation of China in 1931.
