The UN General Assembly demanded that Israel end its occupation of the Palestinian territories

 The General Assembly of the United Nations approved the draft on the Palestinians, in which Israel is required to end the "occupation of the Palestinian territories," within 12 months.

A vote was taken at the meeting, where 124 votes were approved, and 14 votes, including Israel, were rejected, leaving 43 countries that did not participate in the vote. But Palestine did not vote because it is part of the parliament.

This decision was taken after a report of the advisory committee of the parliament in June, where it was reported that the continued occupation of the West Bank, the Jordan River, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip is against international law.

The Palestinian ambassador described the vote as a great victory, "in their struggle for justice," but the Israeli ambassador described the move as, "diplomatic terrorism."

Although it is not necessary to use the measures of the MDD meeting, they are very effective as they reflect the position of 193 countries of the United Nations.
