The Sudanese army said they captured the presidential palace in Khartoum from the RSF forces.
Photos and videos published on social media, which have been confirmed by the BBC, show jubilant soldiers raising their guns in the air, rejoicing and kneeling to pray.
The soldiers have shown their strength and courage to take control of the capital city two years after the RSF forces drove them from it.
So far the RSF forces have not said anything.
