🦠 A New COVID Variant Called NB.1.8.1 Appears in the U.S.

Health officials in the United States have started monitoring a new version of the coronavirus, known as NB.1.8.1, after it was recently discovered in several states. While the variant hasn’t caused panic yet, it’s beginning to raise questions about how it might spread and affect the public.

This strain, which scientists believe developed from earlier forms of Omicron, has been quietly appearing in places like California, New York, Virginia, and others, mostly through regular airport screenings.
