Arsenal completes Eze signing from Crystal Palace.

Arsenal has signed England international Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.

The 27-year-old is the Gunners' seventh acquisition of the season, and they have agreed to pay £60 million for him, plus £8 million in add-ons.

Tottenham was initially interested in Eze, and they agreed on a fee after Palace and the player reached an agreement.

The Gunners have already introduced Eze to the Emirates crowd in their Premier League opener against Leeds United.

Eze, who grew up in Greenwich, began his career at QPR after leaving Arsenal and being signed by Palace for £19.5 million in 2020.

Five months after making his England debut in June 2023, he agreed to a deal that would keep him playing at Selhurst Park until the end of the 2027 campaign.

With 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions last season, including the FA Cup victory over Manchester City, Eze has scored 40 goals in 169 games for Palace.

Due to his transfer to the Gunners, he did not play in the Conference League play-offs, but he made his Palace debut this season in the Premier League match against Chelsea in the first week.
