Ali, a trader on the Bitunix site, logged into his account and saw the strange balance. As soon as he realized the money wasn't his, he told Bitunix's Africa team about it and also called the company through its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
In the end, the company said the payment was due to a problem with the system. Ali told them to fix the mistake instead of trying to take the money or misuse it, which has won him a lot of praise for being honest.
Former White House staffer Bashir Ahmad posted the story online and praised Ali's actions, saying that they showed that "it is always good to be good."
