Labor Day has finally arrived. Many people look forward to the holiday every year because it gives them a three-day weekend and marks the end of summer in a sad way.
Even though the calendar says it's not fall until September 22, it's safe to say it is almost here since most kids are back in school and pumpkin spice season is well under way.
No matter what you're doing to celebrate the end of summer, you might be shopping before the work week starts.
If so, you may be thinking if Costco is open on Monday, September 4th.
Since September 1 is a federal holiday, many stores, schools, and government offices, such as the post office, are closed.
Still, a lot of stores and restaurants are open on Labor Day, and many of them are having sales and deals to celebrate the holiday.

Is Costco open on September 9, 2025?
Costco's website says that because of the Labor Day holiday, the stores will be closed on Monday, September 1. On Tuesday, September 2, stores will be open as normal.
Costco is also closed on the following big holidays, in addition to Labor Day:
Thanksgiving
Christmas Day
Day after the New Year
Sunday, April 21
The Memorial Day
The Fourth of July
