The Texas A&M University Chancellors Fellowship pays for all of your tuition, health insurance, and gives you $50,000 a year for four years of graduate school.
The Texas A&M Chancellors National Academy Fellowships for 2026 are now accepting applications.
The Chancellor's National Academy STEM Ph.D. Fellowship Program, or "Chancellor's Fellowship," is still going strong at the Hagler Institute for Advanced Study. It is for students who are doing great work in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) subjects.
The Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System pays for this initiative. Its goal is to bring more of the best students in the country to Texas A&M University and pair them with a member of the national academy and a rising star faculty member.
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Texas A&M Chancellors National Academy Fellowship:
1. By August 2026, applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) subject. Some people who apply will also hold a master's degree. But you don't need a master's degree.
2. Applicants must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.9 or above on a 4.0 scale in their STEM bachelor's field of study.
3. To start in the autumn of 2026, applicants need either apply for admission to a STEM PhD program at Texas A&M University or already be accepted. Students that win must be accepted to the school.
4. Applicants must live in the U.S., be a permanent resident of the U.S., or be a noncitizen who meets the requirements.
Benefits
The Texas A&M University Chancellors Fellowship pays for;
1. A $40,000 (which can go up to $50,000) stipend for four years of graduate school.
2. The cost of tuition and fees for four years of graduate school.
3. For four years, students can get health insurance through the Academic Health Plan.
