President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof Piwuna, has warned Vice Chancellors across the country after hearing that the Federal Government has told universities to check students' attendance in person during the strike.

In a strong statement, the ASUU head reminded university leaders that one of the union's main demands is for public universities to get revitalisation funds, which he said the Vice Chancellors failed to get. Prof. Piwuna warns VCs
The head of ASUU told the Vice Chancellors that they should look out for the university system instead of following orders that hurt the union's fight for better pay and working conditions.
