The Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy performance was broken by DeeOne.
The event started on October 2, 2025, and ended on October 4, 2025.
The record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon was still held by Benny Elbows from the United States of America (USA) at 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds.
However, there has been no official proof yet that DeeOne does indeed hold the new record.
It's important to note that Hilda Baci's jollof cook-off came after DeeOne's biggest stand-up comedy marathon.
GistReel already told you that Hilda Baci's jollof cook-off took place at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
20,000 people came to the event, which also had some famous people there, like Nollywood star Funke Akindele, who helped Hilda Baci with the planning, and well-known clergyman Bolaju Idowu.
Hilda Baci also talked about the items that were used to make the dish. These were 4,000 kg of basmati rice, 164 kg of fresh goat meat, 220 kg of Gino Asun, Peppered Chicken Cubes, and 600 kg of her famous jollof pepper mix.
