Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, is an entrepreneur and Afrobeats star who has talked about his plans to run for presidential office in the future.

The singer of "Skin Tight" recently married Temi Otedola, the daughter of Femi Otedola, a wealthy businessman. In a Snapchat video broadcast, he said that he wants to become president soon.

He said that for a while now he has been thinking about running for president of an African country.

"I have thought about it." It's time for me to tell you guys about it. Some of you may be from Africa and be looking for a president who isn't after money and power but who is young, busy, and can help your country move forward.

He said, "So, I'm officially putting myself forward for president."

Even though Mr. Eazi was born in Nigeria, he feels very connected to Ghana, where he went to school and started his singing career.

He is said to have said that Ghana had an effect on his type of music, which he called "Banku music."

In the past few years, more Nigerian celebrities have run for office or been appointed to roles in politics.

A lot of other people have also said they want to be in politics in the future. For example, actor Eniola Badmus said she wanted to be a senator soon, in April 2025.
