Someone posted a sweet video of Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen singing along with Yoruba gospel singer Yinka Ayefele at his child's birthday party, and it quickly became a fan favourite.

In the popular video, the Super Eagles striker was seen dancing and singing in Yoruba. Fans were amazed by how well he knew the words, even though he was born in Edo and raised in Delta state.

Victor was born in Lagos and raised there, but his blood comes from the southern part of Nigeria. His dad is from Edo State and his mom is from Delta State.
When Osimhen joined the party in the video, he looked very happy. He was with family and friends, and smiles and laughter filled the room. Fans of him on social media couldn't help but praise how down-to-earth he is, with many saying how "connected to his roots" he still is despite being famous all over the world. "Osimhen too sing Yoruba songs.😂😂 See as he sing Ayefele," one person wrote.

Someone who really liked Galatasaray's goal machine said, "I love him like tomorrow nor dey." "Vic 09 is a different vibe," said someone else.

Someone asked, "Who nor jam this @yinkaayefele Song that year...nor Dey this world?" They were talking about how Yinka Ayefele affected all Yoruba Christian houses many years ago.

The forward for the Super Eagles, who is still doing very well in Europe, is known not only for how good he is at football but also for how much he loves his Nigerian background and how lively his personality is. This latest event only added to that.

Osimhen seems more Yoruba to me than Edo or Delta. What do you think?
