Sulaiman Haruna, aide to the first lady on media, Aisha Buhari, has dismissed rumors that she is pregnant.

 Rumors circulated on social media on Monday that the first lady was about to give birth after photos of President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife were posted online shortly after their arrival from Turkey.

Others speculate that undiagnosed illness is the cause of the condition.But in an interview with BBC Pidgin, Sulaiman dismissed the rumors circulating about the first lady.

 He said: “I can assure you 100 per cent that our wife is not ill, but she is not pregnant as some reports claim. Some of these reports come from ignorant people who have no real purpose. You see, today, people can ruin anyone's pictures. ”
