 Police Have Cordoned Off The Office Of The Attorney General Representing Shekarau

Kano state government, police have raided the office of a lawyer representing the Shekarau faction officials from the Ministry of Lands and Surveys, as well as the police, raided the office of Nureini Jimoh, SAN, 16c Murtala Mohammed Road in Kano.On Tuesday, a lawyer representing Senator Ibrahim Shekarau's party won a landslide victory over APC governor Ganduje Ganduje, overthrowing Abdullahi Abbas.

A lawyer confirmed to the DAILY NIGERIAN that officers had come and locked him in his office with his staff inside the building.He said: "At the moment I am talking about being in the office we are surrounded by other staff. We do not even know how to get out of it."
