Court Arrests Mai Guard for 3 Months for Stealing Meat.

A court in the Dei-Dei area of Abuja has sentenced a security guard, Okoh Richard, to three months in jail for stealing meat and lemons from a hotel where he works.
Richard, who works as a security guard at the Edimony Hotel in Abuja, has been charged with felony criminal mischief.
The judge also warned the accused to be disciplined.
Richard later pleaded guilty to the charges and asked the court for leniency.
Prosecutors, Mr Olaonipekun Babajide, initially told the court that a complaint was lodged by Mr. Echezona Mogboma at the Dawaki Police Station in Abuja on March 10.
Babajide said the suspect was working as a security guard at the Edimony Hotel in Katampe area.
He said the guard smashed the hotel's kitchen window, stealing meat and lemons.
He said the suspect also tried to break into the Edimony hotel manager's office, but his secret was revealed.
