From Thursday, July 21, motorbikes stopped taking passengers from 10 pm to 6 am, due to the number of stolen phones, and other crimes at night.
This Is Due To Many Malpractice Going On In Kano Durin The Day And Night Time
A statement issued by the commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba indicated that a decision to that effect was reached at the end of the state security meeting.
He said the measure was part of an effort to ensure the security of lives and property in the state.
The commissioner, in the statement, urged tricycle riders to comply and stop operating at the stipulated hours as security agents would enforce the ban without compromise.
