Nigeria has received additional funding of 95 million pounds to improve the climate change program

The United Kingdom has announced more than 95 million pounds to support agriculture and climate change in Nigeria.

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly announced this promise at the 27th climate change conference in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

According to reports, Britain's pledge to Nigeria is part of the UK's aid of over 100 million pounds to developing countries to deal with climate change.

The details of the grant show that at least 4 million Nigerians, including 2 million women, will benefit, in order to provide the necessary goods to deal with the effects of climate change.

"The plan is to work with the private sector in Nigeria on agriculture to increase the supply of natural resources, improve nutrition and food production, reduce emissions.

In his speech, Cleverly said: "The Glasgow Agreement on Climate Change gives the world a unique framework to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees.

Confirming the support, the British Deputy High Commissioner in Nigeria, Ben Llewellyn-Jones, said that Nigeria is very vulnerable to climate change.
