Fake Voter Card Holders Arrested - Kano Police.
The Kano State Police has arrested eight people it suspects of committing various crimes, including the owners of many illegal electoral cards.
SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the spokesperson of the state police, disclosed this in a statement he issued on Monday.
In the announcement, Kiyawa said that among those who are suspected are those who stir up the public's attention, those who cause fires, thieves and those who collect illegal election cards, and they have prosecuted them before different courts.
The statement added that the Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Dauda, commends the people of Kano State for the kind of contribution they have made to ensure that they successfully manage the work of the force to deal with all the evils in Kano State.
