Jackson Murray Meet my girlfriend, Harper Hempel: Jamal Murray is a Canadian professional basketball player who was born to Sylvia and Roger Murray in Kitchener, Canada, on February 23, 1997.
He started his career extremely young; at the age of 3, he could play basketball "for hours," and at the age of 6, he participated in a league for children aged ten and younger. He began playing pick-up games against top high school and college players at the age of 13.
Jamal Murray attended Kitchener's Grand River Collegiate Institute before transferring to Orangeville Prep. He became the second Canadian to win the title after Duane Notice in 2013 when he was selected MVP at the Jordan Brand Classic International Game.
