Obasanjo Will Not Be Able To Bring His Constituency In The 2023 Election, Says Bola Tinubu
The presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has warned Peter Obi, that he should not be fooled by his support of the former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.
Tinubu said Obasanjo's support will not take Peter Obi anywhere, because Obasanjo will not be able to win his constituency.
"In our investigation, we found out that Obasanjo has never succeeded in making someone else win the presidency of Nigeria.
"Even in Ogun State, no one can rely on him to win the seat of governor or councillor," said Tinubu through the media director of Tibubu's election campaign committee, Bayo Onanuga.
He went on to say, "We sympathize with Peter Obi because Obasanjo will not be able to win his constituency in Abeokuta in the election on February 25, 2023."
The former governor of Lagos, explained how Obasanjo supported his former deputy, Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 election and lost to President Buhari.
Tinubu emphasized that with his help, Buhari won the election and defeated Atiku.
He said that history will repeat itself in the elections that are repeated in February.
