At least 150 Nigerians were repatriated on Tuesday from Yamai, the capital of Niger, where the Emergency Relief Agency received them at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The Daily Trust newspaper reported that the people who returned home of their own free will landed in a chartered plane from Mali at around 11:20 in the morning.
The International Organization for Refugees in collaboration with the Nigerian Immigration Service and other Nigerian authorities have planned to return the people to their country.
The people include 98 men, 11 boys and two little boys, 24 adult women, 13 boys and two baby girls.
