King Sanusi II Visited Kano 3 Years After Taking Off His Turban

For the first time since his abdication three years ago, the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II visited Dabo on Monday.

Focus News Hausa source, Aminiya reported that the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) landed at the Malam Aminu Kano Airport in Kano for the first time since removing his crown.

The state government removed him on March 9, 2020, because of what it called disrespect to the office of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

According to reports, he camped in Kano to greet his mother, while on his way to Dutse, the capital of Jigawa State, to condole the death of King Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi, and congratulate the new Emir of Dutse.

The Khalifa of Taijjaniyya in Nigeria received a warm welcome from many fans at the Kano airport, and those who waited for his arrival at his mother's house.

When he was stripped of the throne, Sanusi was transferred to Loko town, and then he was transferred to Awe, both in Nasarawa State.
