APC suspended Aisha Binani in Adamawa
The APC party in Yola South Local Government has suspended the party's candidate for Governor, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani for six months for not attending the disciplinary committee on some allegations against her.
This is contained in a statement issued by the party on Friday, which contains the signatures of 21 executive members of the party from different parts of Yola.
The announcement said that the suspension will take effect from Friday, February 17, 2023.
Also, the party in the Local Government has received a complaint about Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani from a leader of the party in Bako Constituency, Auwal Hamma Adama Bawuro, accusing her of causing disunity among the members of the party.
The statement said that the suspension was following a resolution by the Yola South Local Government Committee on her failure to appear before him to protect herself.
Speaking to journalists in Yola, the chairman of the APC in Yola South Local Government, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Mbamoi, who confirmed the suspension, asked the state leaders of the party to consider the suspension so that it becomes izina to her other children.
