The body of Ghanaian player Christian Atsu was found under the rubble of his house, according to the player's representative, almost two weeks after the earthquake struck Turkey and Syria.
The 31-year-old Atsu has played for Chelsea and Newcastle.
Since the earthquake - which destroyed many houses in the city of Hayat where the actor lives - the actor has not been heard from again.
Earlier, his team stated that he was rescued with serious injuries, but later, his representative confirmed that he was not rescued.
"It is with great sadness and panic that I inform those who wish Atsu well that his body was found this morning," as his representative Nana Sechere said on his Tuwita website.
