 Governor Mutawalle of Zamfara State Visited Markets, Banks, and Petrol Stations in Gusau and Bungudu Towns on Sunday Night

 The governor of Zamfara state, Bello Muhammed Matawallen, has raided some major petrol stations, commercial establishments and banks in Gusau town and other towns adjacent to the state capital.

 The governor who was personally withdrawing the car together with other government and security officials spent time in some banks to see how the ATM machine gives money to the people and the fuel stations and how they sell.  and fuel for motorists and collecting old bills.

 At the petrol stations and some small businesses he visited, Governor Bello Muhammed Mutawalle asked the traders to accept the old naira to ease the current shortage of old and new naira.

 The Governor has also asked the people in the state to help each other so that the less powerful and those who have no other means are sympathized with.

 He promised to meet with the senior officials of the central bank of the CBN in the state and the officials of the commercial banks to come up with an effective and urgent way to overcome the problem and reduce the pain and suffering that the majority of the people are facing now.

 He also reaffirmed his order to punish anyone who accepts old naira to make the people suffer.

 Governor Bello Muhammed Mutawalle is one of the three governors who have sued the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Government regarding the deadline set by them to stop accepting old naira.

 The incident led to the Supreme Court prohibiting the federal government from taking action to prevent the response of the former nurses until it listens to their arguments in the future.

 Hundreds of people who met with the Governor rejoiced and prayed for him on this decision he took and respected him in the places he visited.
