I Have No Intention To Rival My Wife, Says Bola Tinubu
The presidential candidate of the APC party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has denied the news that he is ready to challenge his wife.
He described the story, which is being circulated on social media as a hoax, where he said his one wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is enough for him.
The candidate's spokesperson, Tunde Rahman confirmed this in a statement he issued on Sunday evening.
He said, "We saw news circulating on social media that the presidential candidate of the APC party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is going to remarry.
"This is a story about a hare and one that has no basis. Honorable Tinubu is happy with his marriage to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whom God has blessed with good children, and he has no intention of marrying another woman now, whether she is a Muslim or a Christian.
"Those who spread this news that he will marry a Muslim are doing this not only to cause confusion in his family, they also want to cast his hatred in the hearts of Christians, and they will not go anywhere," said the statement.
He then urged all Nigerians to ignore the news, saying that the main goal of the candidate is the upcoming general election and how he will improve the lives of Nigerians, not remarriage.
