Harvard University Students Complete Ummara Project
Recently, some Harvard University students conducted the Ummara project in Makkah and Madinah.
According to the Muslim League of the University, Khalil Abdur-Rashid and Samia Omar, who organized and led the second Ummarar trip to the university, stated that it was a great success.
Abdur-Rashid and Omar led 31 participants in the first Ummarar at Harvard in 2019.
It took me months to plan how the program, sponsored by a servant of God, promised to support 30 students annually to make this journey.
The arrangements for the trip include making agreements with travel agencies, providing visas, the School Board and the offices of the Health Commission, and the Saudi Ministry.
As a result, the 10-day visit went smoothly and successfully.
