I will build 500,000 classrooms within 4 years if I am elected, says Senator Rabi'u Kwankwaso
The presidential candidate of the NNPP party, Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, has promised to build 500,000 classrooms in primary schools across Nigeria in the four years of his administration as long as he is elected.
The candidate disclosed this during a visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, at his palace in Zaria on Monday.
Kwankwaso said that this is one of the resolutions that his party has put forward, to improve education from the ground up.
He said, "Our party is the only candidate for the President to visit more than 500 Local Governments by car, to see for ourselves the condition of our states and villages."
"This is what has made our party famous in a short time and it is known all over the country, we have candidates for almost all the political seats," he said.
Kwankwaso also said that his government will work with the chiefs, as he appointed them in special committees for national development when he was the Governor of Kano.
On his part, the Emir of Zazzau Ahmad Bamalli Nuhu thanked Kwankwaso for the honorable visit he paid him, and prayed for a good President in the next general election.
The Emir also appealed to whoever succeeds to become the President, to put an end to the security problem that afflicts Nigeria.
