 The new Kano Police Commissioner CP Muhammad Yakubu has started work

 The new Commissioner of Police in Kano State, CP Muhammad Yakubu, has started work, after the former Commissioner, Mamman Dauda, ​​has been transferred to Plateau State to conduct the 2023 elections.

 The spokesperson of the force, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday.

 The statement said that the command has appointed CP Ita Uko-Udom as the person who will be in charge of Kano central zone in the election, then DCP Adamu Isa Ngoji and DCP Abdulkadir El-Jamil will be in charge of the southern zone of Kano while DCP Abaniwomda S  . Olufemi will be in charge of Kano North zone to manage the election affairs.

 Kiyawa said the new commissioner has assured the people of Kano that there will be a clean election.
