24 people died in a car accident in Niger state
Less than 24 hours after 11 people lost their lives on the road from Mokwa to Lapai in Niger State, 24 other people died in a car accident that happened on the road from Kutigi to Bida in the state.
An eyewitness told Focus News Hausa source, LEADERSHIP that the accident happened at midnight on Tuesday in Etsuworo village, where a truck was traveling from Zaria to Lagos State.
The Commander of the National Disaster Response Force (FRSC) in the state, Kumar Tsukwam, confirmed that 24 people died in the accident, and the injured were rushed to the Kutigi General Hospital, which is the headquarters of Lavun local government of the state.
