Botswana denies that the soldiers in Mozambique are starving.

The Botswana Defense Force has refuted claims that food shortages are plaguing its peacekeeping personnel stationed in northern Mozambique.

The army refuted the newspaper report, claiming it was unfounded.

The National Defense Force said in a statement on Wednesday that its soldiers in the Cabo Delgado area are receiving all the care necessary to be inspired to fight alongside them.

In 2021, about 300 Botswana soldiers will travel to Mozambique as part of a program to monitor the growth of southern African communities.

According to reports in the media, Samim and Mozambique army incursions have caused a decline in fighter activity in the nation's north.
