The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has ordered banks to continue accepting old 1,000 and 500 naira notes.

 The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has ordered commercial banks to continue accepting the old N1,000 and N500 notes until December 31.

 The order comes after President Muhammadu Buhari said that the CBN and the Minister of Justice refused to comply with the Supreme Court's order on the matter.
