Hundreds of people were killed in Burkina Faso.
About 60 civilians were reportedly killed in the town of Karma near the Mali border, according to authorities in the north of Burkina Faso.
The homicide was carried out by several individuals wearing military uniforms, according to a prosecutor in the area who said he learned of the occurrence on Friday.
Even just last week, an attack on the Burkinabe army and a few volunteers took place in the vicinity of Wahiguya, resulting in roughly 40 fatalities and more than 30 injuries.
Since the rebels began targeting the region, thousands of civilians have died.
