Nicola Peltz’s super-rich family: Meet Brooklyn Beckham’s billionaire in-laws amid wedding legal drama

If stories are true, Nicola Peltz Beckham and her husband, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, could be planning a second, stunning ceremony to renew their wedding vows. This would come after a storm of legal drama surrounded their first wedding, which took place in Palm Beach, Florida, last April.

Brooklyn, the oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, and Nicola, the daughter of wealthy businessman Nelson Peltz and his third wife, former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, got married in front of 500 guests at the Peltzes' family mansion over the course of three days. The event was very expensive, which makes sense since Brooklyn's father-in-law is said to be worth £1.3 billion.

But now there's a cloud over the celebrations, which happened years after the pair announced they were getting married in 2020. Mr. Peltz, who is 80 years old, is said to have sued wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalva last week to get his £132,000 money back. MailOnline says that he says they were fired just a few weeks before the wedding because of "mistakes." Later, Braghin and Grijalba replied by calling Mr. Peltz a "bully billionaire" and filing a complaint in a Miami court for breach of contract and "interference" with a business deal.

The newspaper says that they are also suing the bride, Nicola, her mother, Claudia, and the wedding planner, Rishi Patel, for at least £41,000 in damages and costs, which could add up to hundreds of thousands of pounds.

But who are the Peltzes? They seem to be at the center of the story.

Nicola, a 28-year-old aspiring actor, is best known for her parts in the TV show Bates Motel and the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction. She had a bit of a lucky life even before she made her first movie appearance.

Nelson Peltz, who made his money as a businessman and investor, gave birth to Nicola and her eight full siblings. She also has two half-siblings from his first marriage. Nelson is a big name in the New York finance world. He dropped out of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1963 and started running a delivery truck for his grandfather's company, A. Peltz & Sons, which delivered food to New York restaurants. Nelson made his way up in his family's business and helped them switch to selling frozen foods. He built up a kind of food service kingdom by buying several other food companies.

In 1983, Nelson and his business partner were able to buy a piece of Triangle Industries Inc., a company that made vending machines and wire. Soon, they grew the business into the biggest packaging company in the world. When they sold it, Nelson made about $840 million, according to MailOnline. But he didn't want to rest on his success, so in 2005, he co-founded Trian Fund Management, an alternative investment management fund. Through this fund, he has made money by investing in big companies like Heinz, Cadbury, Kraft Foods, and Wendy's.

Nelson's success is shown by his two jets, his many houses, and the famous people he hangs out with. The MailOnline says that Greg Norman, an Australian expert golfer and business owner, is one of his closest friends. Norman has called him a "mental marathon runner" and said, "Nelson isn't the type for Harvard." He knows how to get by in the real world. He knows what most people want.'

Donald Trump is a friend who is also well-known. Nelson has been a loyal supporter of the US President, with whom he has lived close in Florida for many years. It is said that he once said, "I think his policies are good for America." We have sent tens of millions of industrial jobs overseas in the last 40, 50, or any other number of years... We sent a lot of them overseas. We gave them to both Europe and Asia. Now is the time to bring back those jobs.' Nelson is said to be such a devoted follower of the President that he threw a fancy fundraiser for him that cost £470,000 per couple to attend.

In 1985, Peltz married his third wife, Claudia Heffner, who used to be a fashion model. The MailOnline says that Claudia is the mother of eight of her husband's ten children. She is also a generous person and has a large collection of diamond jewelry. It was thought that Claudia and Victoria might have something in common, since Claudia used to be a model and has an eye for beauty. And since they both had lots of kids, they probably talked about the good and bad parts of having a big family.

Sport is an important part of the Peltz family's plan, as it is with the Beckhams, given David's football job. In an interview, Nelson once said, "My kids are tired every day, and I make sure they stay that way." Gym, ice, and chores. They are too tired to do anything wrong.

The Peltz kids remember how much attention was paid to sports. Brad Peltz, one of Nicola's brothers, used to play ice hockey professionally. This is a sport that Nicola also enjoys and is good at. She was quoted as saying, "I think my dad thought I would join the women's ice hockey league, but I fell in love with drama and asked my mom if I could do it." In fact, Nicola has followed her brother Will Peltz to Hollywood. Will is an actress who has been in movies like Sierra Burgess Is a Loser and Time Freak.

Through her family and her work as an actor, Nicola knows a thing or two about living a glamorous life. Justin Bieber and Anwar Hadid are said to have been her boyfriends in the past. Even though most girlfriends would be pleased by the Beckhams' £30 million home in Holland Park and £6 million farmhouse in the Cotswolds, Brooklyn might be a little nervous about meeting the Peltz family.

The MailOnline says that the family has two huge homes in the US. DeWitt Wallace, who helped start Reader's Digest, used to own High Winds, their 130-acre mega-mansion in Bedford, New York. It is said that Nelson used to take a chopper to work in the city from there. Its grounds have a lake, a waterfall, an indoor ice hockey rink, and even a flock of albino peacocks. It has every modern comfort and a lot more besides. There are also more traditional status symbols. It is said that Nelson is a big fan of Impressionist art and is happy to own works by Renoir, Cezanne, and Degas.

The couple also owns a Regency-style home in Palm Beach, Florida, which is where the wedding was held. Nelson is said to have bought the house across the street so he could build a tennis court there. When he was told that he also needed a house to be able to build a court, he quickly came up with a solution: he built a big house for his guests.

The family is known for throwing expensive parties. The MailOnline says that in 2016, Nelson spent £800,000 on a Bar Mitzvah for his twin boys. This, however, pales in comparison to how expensive the star-studded wedding was, which has been revealed in legal papers.

If there is to be a second wedding, the relative quiet of the Cotswolds might be a nice change. Just wait and see.
