Nigerian troops have killed bandits and seized weapons in Zamfara
The Nigerian Army operating under Operation Hadarin Daji have killed three bandits in an ambush in Anka to Dan Kapani areas in the Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State in the North West of the country.
The National News Agency NAN quoted the Director of Publicity of the National Security Agency, Major General Musa Danmadami, as saying in a statement he issued.
Major General Danmadami said the soldiers also recovered weapons including one PKT model rifle, three AK-47 models with a lot of ammunition, and three motorcycles.
The announcement said that the army commended the troops and called on the community to give the army officials secret information about the terrorists and where they are doing their activities.
Zamfara state is one of the Nigerian states that are suffering from the activities of bandits.
